Jongi means to “Look” in the indigenous Eastern Cape & Wakanda #BlackPanther language of isiXhosa, with data being the life blood of any AI model and the combination of our capabilities it gave birth to our name “Jongi Data”, which means we are “looking at your data” in order to label it.

Our affiliation with the YES-4-Youth Programme assists in addressing the South African unemployment crisis. YES-4-Youth recognizes the critical role the youth play in shaping the South African economy.
Expert levels human knowledge is required for data annotation and the availability of appropriately skilled personnel, it is suggested that South Africa is well prepared to operate in the 4IR space, albeit high up in the value chain.
